To announce that Asa's visa was approved at an appointment which took place this morning! However, much of Haiti (including the US Consulate) closes to celebrate Carnival, so the actual visa probably won't be in-hand until later next week. I can't say for sure, but my best guess is that we will probably travel late next week or early the following week.
The extremely speedy visa appointment came as a complete shock. Praise the LORD, our son is coming home!!!

I tell you - the Haitians know how to party. There were some big Carnival parades when we were down there Feb 1st. Complete mayhem! I'll have to post some pictures of that soon.
